Our Practice Philosophy

You have been referred to us by your general dentist because they found a problem with the gum tissues (gingiva) and bone that surround and support your teeth, or maybe because some of your teeth need to be replaced using dental implants. We provide the special care and knowledge required to deal with these problems to assist, support and complement the treatment you receive from your general dentist.

Patients often don’t anticipate needing periodontal treatment. They may come with many unanswered questions about the nature of their problems and why they need specialty periodontal treatment. Often there is fear. We understand this. It is our belief that if you have made the commitment to seek periodontal treatment with us, then working to help you overcome fear, and to be sure you have all the knowledge needed to understand your problem and the reason for treatment, is at least as important as the treatment itself. We don’t believe in taking our patients’ comfort for granted either. We cannot expect a patient’s commitment to therapy to thrive with anticipation of pain.
